Scientific profile
Our research group makes use of experimental animal, cellular, and biochemical approaches to analyze programs and mechanisms, which organize the genes-environment dialogue from development to aging. We are particularly interested to identify those neural and endocrine sytems, that give rise to the molecular and cellular plasticity underlying mental health and disease pathways and may deliver potential targets for therapeutic interventions.
