Until October 2009 Prof. Wetter headed one psychiatric ward, the outpatient sleep clinic and the sleep laboratory at the MPI.
The scientific interest of his research group centered on sleep disorders in humans with a focus on psychiatric and sleep-related movement disorders, parasomnias and the pathophysiology of narcolepsy.
